Wayne Cable
General Manager
Born in Suffolk, England. Wayne moved to the Appalachian Mountains at the age of 17. Having always had a passion for woodworking, he decided to pursue a career in it. From Bridge building to custom home building, he stumbled across timber framing at the age of 21. Since then, he has not looked back, always having a passion and displaying integrity for every project. Taking over the leadership role as General Manager for Harmony Timberworks, Wayne continues to pursue his passion and attention to detail running Harmony’s long-standing family-oriented business. He works with each client’s ideas and dreams helping guide the Harmony Team from concept to securing the final timber realizing our client's vision. In Wayne’s spare time he takes pride in being a father to 3 daughters and husband to his wife Miranda. All who love spending time together in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina where Harmony is based.
Mallory Barrick
Accounting/Office Manager
Mallory is an Appalachian State University alumnae with a degree in Communications and concentration in Electronic Media/Broadcasting.
Mark Howell
National Sales Director
Mark is a native of Boone, NC and came to work for Harmony Timberworks in 1991. He now has over 25 years of experience in the timber framing industry and specializes in all types of residential and commercial projects.
David Nicklaw
Project Manager
David joined the construction industry in 1998 and worked at Harmony Timberworks from 2006 to 2012 in Estimating and Sales. He then operated an organic farm for six years before returning to Harmony Timberworks in 2018 as Project Manager. In his spare time, David likes being on the water with his family, hiking, and bowling with his son.

Lead Timber Frame Designer
Professionally, Steven is passionate about helping create one-of-a-kind structures that people will love and live in for years to come.
Joel Thompson
Timberframe Designer
Joel started at Harmony Timberworks in 2006 on our CNC machine. Shortly after, he became our estimator. He has recently returned to Harmony to join our design department.
Ken Thompson
Job Captain
I am a job captain here at Harmony Timberworks. I have 30+ years of experience in all phases of commercial and residential construction. Working here is challenging and rewarding. I truly enjoy how our sales, design, production, installation, and management teams work together to put out a quality product that we can stand behind and be proud of.

Johel Reyes
Job Captain
Johel moved to the US 10 years ago having originally lived in Honduras his whole life. He always had an eye for timber framing and joined Harmony in 2019. Harmony has given him the opportunity to develop and grow his knowledge in the industry and is currently a Job Captain.
